When you think of a baby what are some of the first things that come to mind? Dirty diapers, cribs, crying, little clothes, miniature everything and baby showers are some of the first thoughts that may have popped into your head. Unless you are having the baby yourself, the baby shower may be the one you are most concerned with. A soon to be mommy’s registry is her wish list. If soon to be mommy had unlimited funds this registry would be reality. Most likely, the soon to be mom does not have unlimited funds and will need your help to make her wish list a reality.

To get a more personal baby gifts for the soon to be mommy, examine the whole baby registry. Now you have to make a decision. Most likely the mom to be will have a couple of big ticket items on her baby shower registry.  Of course there will be a lot of smaller items to choose from as well. Do you want to get one big item or a couple of smaller items? If you want to get a big item then just pick the one you like the best and wrap it right on up. Now if you buy your gift from Babies R’ Us you will notice that they offer complimentary gift and that means that half the other baby gifts at the shower will have the same wrapping. So if you are planning on getting one big baby present consider making the wrapping special. This is very easy to do. Just find some nice wrapping paper and some nice ribbon. You could always add some cute baby accessories to the ribbon of your baby gift. Cute baby accessories to add would be pacifiers, bottle nipples, baby socks and baby mittens just to name a few.

Now if you are planning on getting a few baby gifts and make into one big present then you have numerous options. One approach would be to get a few baby presents that have a theme. Many parents do not want to know what they are having. So, neutral baby items are the best way to good. Green is a very popular neutral color. A great combination would be a green blanket, green car seat and green baby clothes. Little frogs and toads are a favorite among the green themed baby presents. The little green froggy is both cute and perfect for both boys and girls. Using the froggy idea, you can get a bath robe and bath toys to match. If you would rather get baby items that go together you still have many options. You could get things that are only for the bathroom such as baby tubs, towels and toilettes. Or you can even get the baby prepared for meals. Now you are probably thinking that all a baby needs is a bottle. Well the baby will need several bottles, additional nipples, a place to store them and bibs. The baby will begin to eat food eventually which means the baby will need baby spoons, containers (for the food mommy makes), and its own dishware. So you see there are plenty of things you can get for the baby. The only question is what of baby present do you want to get your mommy to be?
