Toddlers can be very difficult to handle. At this point they are walking, talking and doing anything that their heart desires. Toddlers always want to go everywhere their parents go. She does a very good job of feeding herself at home, making a very small mess if any sometimes and she is almost potty trained, thanks to pull ups. Since we are always on the go, she is in the car with me often. Sometimes we are in the car for long periods of time. Even though she is a little trooper, she still has accidents from time to time in her toddler car seat. If you own a toddler car seat then you know that if you want to clean them, all you can really do it wipe them down, which does not clean them at all. So I bought a toddler car seat cover. Toddler car seat covers fit right over the seat. These toddler car seat covers are great because my toddler can spill drinks, make crumbs and even have a small accident and no major harm is done. I just take off my toddler car seat cover and put it in the washer machine and I have my germ free seat cover again. I have heard that some people use blankets as toddler car seat covers and I tried it once and only once. First there were no holes for the seat belts to go through like the toddler car seat covers have. Second they didn’t fit snuggly over the car and so when my toddler was moving around in her toddler car seat the blanket moved too, and by the end of the car ride, more of the blanket was on the floor than on the toddler car seat. Third, a regular blanket did not absorb a lot of the spills my toddler had, so the blanket just soaked through, defeating its main purpose. I will stick to my toddler car seat cover .
